Sunday Kitten Porn

Ok, so my lovelies have been so darling today that I could not stop myself from taking some pictures.

First, here is (less and less wee by the day) Mr. Stripey by the d-o-g bowl with the water. And yes, each cat has two bowls, because my stupid vet was all "they should eat both wet and dry food" and so, yes. Anyway, now you see the (messy, for Mr. Stripey does do the playing by the food thing) set-up.
And then, just at the moment that my mom called this morning, the two frisky felines decided it was time for some pre-nap grooming...

and then a snooze....

You can't stand it, can you? It's just too much cuteness for mere mortals. Other than being the Official Kitten Photographer, I have spent the day cheffing up meals for the week. I might be the most boring person in the world.

No, *I* am the most boring person in the world! Because I don't even have cat pictures to give people. I've got at least 2 semi-substantial blog posts in my head, but by the time I've finished my reading each day I'm way too wiped to write them. And I spent today at Target, the grocery store, doing laundry, reading contracts, and I'm about to start cooking for tonight/the week. Boredom incarnate!

Mr. Stripey does still look pretty "wee" in the first shot! Both your kitties are absolutely adoreable...

Ahhh, the cuteness, the cuteness!

I took night allergy meds instead of daytime, nondrowsy meds, so I spent the afternoon staring at the wall and going, "wait, where is my brain?" which may win for sheer boringness.

Thanks for the kitty update. Your food area looks just like mine! (Although, your water dish is a wee bit bigger....) Well, almost like mine. Our girl kitty prefers drinking from a cup (?!) so there are two water dishes in addition to two dry food and two wet food bowls.

In a previous post you mentioned your difficulty with finding metallic cat-sized bowls. I found mine at the local (Bay Area) PetSmart. Looking online, I see they have a slightly different version, the "PetZazz," which has the same rubberized base as your water bowl.
