What's the Deal with All the Academic Steelers' Fans?

Because this girl from Cleveland just can't celebrate their Super Bowl win. Oh no, she cannot.

Yeah, count my bf among them. And I'm actually *from* Seattle.

However, the Seahawks sucked so much for my entire childhood that they never won any loyalty or even interest from me (my high school football team, now *they* kicked ass), so I'm not too upset. Plus, all those sad ex-mining communities in western PA really needed the win.

RC - Ok, admittedly, I pretty much stopped watching football when the "real" Browns moved to Baltimore, too, though I did make a brief return to football when I was in grad school living in Boston and the Patriots went to the superbowl and won for the first time. Still, though, i've got enough hometown pride in me that there is no way for me to be happy that the Steelers won.

I am originally from Pittsburgh, and I am a die hard Steelers fan. So, I guess we hate each others guts! LOL!!!!

SS - Well, I think we might say that we have a healthy respect for one another though, no? I mean, I really think that the Steelers-Browns thing is a love-hate sort of a thing (in contrast to the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry, which, as far as I can tell, is pretty much hate-hate).
