Thoughts on Primaries

Is it wrong that I hope that today's voting *doesn't* force a decision about the democratic nominee, just because I'd like actually to get to cast a vote one way or the other? Sure, it's bad for the party not to pick somebody for the general election, especially since the republicans already have - blah, blah, blah - but I'd actually like to have been a teensy part of the picking.

So yes, I'm a selfish, irresponsible democrat. A selfish, irresponsible democrat who really resents the fact that the great likelihood is that she will have no vote in the primary election cycle for her party.

Bad as it is, this is why I hope that nobody concedes after today's primaries. I want the candidates to hold out until I actually have a chance to pick one of them and to cast a vote.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't know if my psyche can take another 6-16 weeks of this nonsense.

Sounds like you got your wish... No who are you going to vote for?

You know, I honestly am not sure who I'll vote for yet. I have an inclination in a direction, but I kind of want to see how things go from this point. Can Obama respond more effectively to Clinton's attacks? Can Clinton back up her attacks with something other than complaints about Obama's speech-making? And who will the as-yet-uncommitted super-delegates end up supporting, or will they name who they support before the convention? In other words, I'm waffling at the moment.
