There may be a time and a place for everything. The difficulty is figuring out when and where.
Yes! I hate that, too! I never do it--I hang up quickly if I have to. It sucks to sit there feeling like an idiot as you sob while holding the phone to your ear so someone who isn't there can hear.

What's worse, IMHO, is not being able to cry when crying is what you really should be doing.
